My Classic 10-Step Skincare Routine

This site-specific project was the result of a two-week residency at UVA Programme in Nizza Monferrato as P_E_A_K_A_Y_.

Different parts of mokka pots that are void of functionality – the movement-triggered scraping of a lid on a pot that evokes a heavy stone door opening – and the steady swell of boiling coffee drowned by the sounds of the vinyard outside.

At the centre of the project sit an old worker's hut in the adjacent vinyard and the ubiquitous mokka pot as sites for exploration of the comfort and the alienating sides of routine.
